FISHING LOGS: New Jersey & Delaware Bay
Southern New Jersey

Posted By Bob Misak, July 9, 2018
The past week remained somewhat steady and anglers are still reaping the benefit of some nice keeper flounder in Atlantic and Cape May county waters. Absecon Bay has been giving it up since the fluke season began, and now some bigger flounder have moved onto the snag lands out front. Those heading out to the reefs can now also keep some sea bass as the season reopened with a two-fish limit, and summer species like triggerfish and kingfish are also moving inshore. The perch fishing in South Jersey also remains strong and small blues have made their presence just about everywhere.
