Rhode Island

Posted By Toby Lapinski, October 8, 2018
Mike Wade of Watch Hill Outfitters nailed a bunch of bass and false albacore over the weekend while fishing inside Quonny Pond.
There are still false albacore being caught all across Southern New England, but Rhode Island remains quite consistent with fish being landed both from shore and by boat. This week saw some slightly picky fish at times, but that said once a school of cooperative fish was found the action was pretty good by all accounts.

My friend Shannon caught this nice 30” striper on green crabs fishing for Tautog in Narragansett on Sunday afternoon 108!
