ALBIES SETTLE IN

ALBIES SETTLE IN
Porgy madness continues on Long Island Sound.
False albies are running amok from Eatons Neck to Cranes Neck. More keeper sea bass are showing and reports came in of decent catches near the OB. Cocktail blues in the 2 to 5-pound category are providing very good action, and bluefish can be found in very good numbers at the Middle grounds as evidenced by a customer from Ralph’s Fishing Station who nailed blues to 15 pounds there. The Middle Grounds saw some decent bass action and one angler scored one of 44-inches. Porgies are still a hot item all over the Sound and the harbor.
