SLOW BUT SURE STRIPERS

SLOW BUT SURE STRIPERS
Fisherman subscriber Charles Filling ran out of Chestnut Neck Boat Yard on the Mullica a couple of times last week and bucktailed a bunch of stripers in the river with the biggest going 31 inches that he released.
The cold snap last week didn’t do much to help the striper action or the participation heading into the weekend. A few catches were reported in the Mullica, primarily those who’ve splashed earlier or trailer boats. Sunny start to this week and a little warming trend heading into the weekend should help spur the bite for winter flounder and stripers alike. Big weekend event in Edison as the Saltwater Fishing Expo returns to the convention center in Edison from Friday through Sunday. What’s become of the very best saltwater shows in the country, you’ll find great tackle and plenty of charter opportunities, with a weekend full of informative seminars. Be sure to stop by The Fisherman booth (#462) for your subscription and free gift from Sea Striker or Star Rods, while supplies last.
