A look at the 33-inc, 15.1-piound fluke landed on a rainy day trip this week onboard the Frances Fleet.
That’s right, a true doormat was landed this week as long-time Frances Fleet mate Cote was out fishing this week and managed to catch the second-largest fluke ever landed on the Frances Fleet boats. The fish weighed-in at an impressive 15.1 pounds and was caught on that super-hot fluke killer, the salmon red Gulp! Other boats fishing around Block Island reported some double-digit fluke as well, and captains running to the Nantucket Shoals are also finding their fill of doormats.
