New England

Posted By Toby Lapinski, September 9, 2019
Kurt Nelson landed this bonito just before the hurricane hit, well inside Long Island Sound.
For the most part, Southern New England dodged any major problems from Hurricane Dorian. There was some good wind and waves seen, along with a little bit of rain, but compared with those of us to the south we came out pretty good. The big fear was what it might do to the excellent fishing that was seen pre-storm, and all accounts so far are of continued success both inshore and off.
