Brrrr, Bass!

Brrrr, Bass!
Monmouth County's Matt Calabria didn't let a little snow stop him from hitting the striper grounds, though according to the Tackle Box in Hazlet, the Fishin' Nations staffer ain't sayin' where they're bitin'.
While snow covered banks along the Raritan don’t leave a warm and fuzzy feeling for most anglers, there’s a simmering buzz about stripers showing along the shorefront. More folks will be taking the short ride to Somerset, NJ for better intel at the Saltwater Fishing Expo being held from Friday through Sunday. For short work on small bags, winter flounder at Shark River are a good bet with double-headers on bloodworms sometimes putting anglers back into the car and on the way to the filet table in no time flat!
