More Windy Woes
Good news is tough to come by right now for Rhode Island anglers as the cod boats have been shut out since early last week and this trend looks like it is going to continue well into this week and maybe even the weekend. If you can find a warm day, or at least a cooler one when the winds take a break, striped bass should start moving in the usual winter-over spots like the Providence River, the salt ponds of South County and the smaller tidal rivers of the state. It won’t be long until those first fresh fish start hitting the West Wall, so get your gear ready!
