BALTIMORE WHITE MARLIN
On Friday Heidie Durham and Max Schultz grabbed a pair of white marlin while fishing in the Baltimore aboard the Storm Rider along with Jeff Becker, Warren Williams, George Williams, and Capt. John Schultz. Photo courtesy of Lewes Harbour Marina.
Flounder fishing continues to improve with more fish caught on the Old Grounds, inside Indian River Inlet and over the reef sites in Delaware Bay. Live minnows, strips of squid and Gulp! have been the top baits. Attaching either one to a bucktail improves your chance for success. Over on the Chesapeake, liveline or chumming still is producing good numbers of striped bass. There seem to be more small fish around, but livelining with spot or white perch should put you on a larger class of fish.
