Goodbye Jose, hello Maria. This has been one of the most frustrating weeks of a most unpredictable season that I can recall and I have a lot to be thankful for because we live right on the shore of a tidal river. The water is cleaning up and albies are showing all weekend long off the Cape Beaches so that might be a good place to start. The Canal saw some fish in it with at least one 50-pounder jigged up, but overall it was a step down from what has been seen there of late. Tuna action was good before the storm but pretty much everything offshore took a hit due to the extended stay of Jose right over the usual tuna grounds.
