TIME FOR FALL TROUT

Posted By Tom Melton, October 23, 2017
It’s that time again when all the local lakes have been stocked with trout. From what I heard, the action is good in most areas, with spoons and spinners working well. Small trout worms will also account for solid action. If you want bass, you might want to head to the NYC Reservoirs of Titicus and Cross as the action has been red hot for anglers trolling Rapala plugs or dunking live sawbellies.
From Steve Gilman I heard Massapequa was stocked and he was headed that way. The water temp is just cold enough for them but they were slow and Steve had only two browns and maybe five misses.
