STILL SOME STRIPERS

STILL SOME STRIPERS
There are plenty of small, schoolie bass making their way allowing the local shoreline, but don’t be surprised if a hefty keeper intercepts your bait or lure!
As the days grow shorter and ocean water cools, many southern New England sportsmen turn their efforts from fishing to hunting. There are still some fantastic fishing opportunities in October so I wouldn’t put my fishing gear away just yet. One of my fishing friends in Kennebunkport is always the last boat out of the water. He leaves it in until Thanksgiving. Two years ago he landed a 49-inch striper on November 24th. You can’t catch ’em if you don’t wet a line.
