TUG O’ WAR
There are still some large striped bass running the surf like this 47-pounder landed by Will Sirotnak. (Image courtesy of Fishin’ Factory 3)
It’s that time of year when the seasons start fighting with each other. We’ve been enjoying an extended period of ‘shorts and flip-flops’ weather here and now things are starting to look a little more uncertain. Storms, cool nights and ocean-mixing high winds can change the fall fishing outlook in a hurry. No matter what your species of choice, you should not waste too many days here. Because, when it’s too late, you can’t get them back.
