WINDING DOWN?

WINDING DOWN?
Blackfishing really turned on this past week. Here are some solid tog landed by Lindsay Urban on a recent trip with Rock and Roll Charters out of Clinton.
This cold snap seems to have many anglers worrying about the end. But the blackfishing has been great, pretty much statewide. In fact, this was the best week for size for the entire fall with several 8- to 11-pounders taken this week. Striper action has been tough in the eastern Sound. The western sound has been much better, with some fish well into the 30-pound class taken. Albie action is winding down fast, in fact, it might be over.
