FEELING LIKE FALL

FEELING LIKE FALL
Andrew Kosciukiewicz with a nice schoolie bass that he landed over the weekend while fishing in Narragansett with his dad and brother.
Well we finally got a taste of some actual fall weather this past week as temperatures dipped down below 30 degrees at night a couple of times. While I can’t say I’m completely happy with the change, it was enough to drop the water temperatures a few degrees which was just enough to get the tautog moving to the areas they should have been in for the past couple of weeks and the fishing reports for tautog improved dramatically this past week. We also got word of stripers running the beaches from Gansett through South County during the day to keep those still hitting the beaches happy.
