Captain Kevin from Kayman Charters will be very happy to start fishing haddock this spring and looking forward to the new haddock limits. The fishing was insane last year and the fish will be even bigger now. There will be shared charter sign ups and overnight options as well. We will be offering weekly shared charters and private trips for haddock and tuna.
Capt. Kevin of Kayman Charters sent us an email this week to announce that spring haddock fishing on the Lisa & Jake begins this year on April 15. Last year's spring haddock fishing in the Gulf of Maine was excellent right out the gate, and all signs point towards a repeat performance this year. He has also announced new marathon shared charters for 2017. These trips allow for more time spent on the water and are perfect for clients who want to fish but can't fill a full boat. Don't delay in booking your trip as the best dates always fill up first!
Captain Kevin from Kayman Charters reported the bank is loaded with recreational size tuna. These fish are from 40 to 70 inches and are feeding with the whales. There are only a few weeks left of fishing as the boat is coming out of the water the beginning of November.
Captain Kevin from Kayman Charters reported anglers have been slaying cod, pollock and haddock. There were more jumbo pollock this week as well as whiting, redfish and cusk. Tuna fishing has been very good with many recreational-sized fish in the mix. Haddock fishing remains outstanding.
