Joe from the Mijoy sent over his report this week via email. "We started blackfishing on a full moon and had fish up to 7 pounds, but it wasn't a dream trip. On Sunday we did better with a couple of limits, a couple guys with three fish and everyone else went home with enough for dinner. Hopefully with lighter tides we will do much better. If we get a good weather window we will sail down to Block Island. The porgy guys want some big scup and we should get sea bass and some cod as well. The trip will sail at 6 am Friday morning; if you want to go please call and leave your name and number and how many in your party."

Capt. Joe on The Mijoy emailed his report over on Sunday afternoon. "It was a windy week but the fishing remained good except for a couple of trips where we still did fine but our fares had to work a little harder for them. One day last week we took another group of guys from Take a Vet Fishing and they had a ball catching giant porgy and sea bass; it's just a nice thing to take a great bunch of people out for some good old Mijoy fun. We May have added another state record for fish on the Mijoy this week; we will hold on to it's official. By the time you read this we will be sailing Saturday and Sunday at 6 a.m. and we will also be going on a few Block Island 'freezer filler' specials, give the office a call if you would like to get on one of those trips, leave your name and number and we'll do the rest."

Capt. Joe on The Mijoy emailed his report over on Sunday afternoon. "I feel like our report sounds like a broken record: we are still catching good amounts of nice porgies with a few sea bass and tautog. Porgy limits have not been hard to come by most days. We should have the porgy whisperer come up and do a seminar. Tanya, her dad Stanley, and brother Drew could catch fish in a rain puddle. Always happy to see the Thompson family come and put on a clinic. We will sail daily—weather permitting—through October 31st, and then weekends only in November, the last weekend being Friday, Saturday and Sunday 24, 25 and 26 following Thanksgiving."

Capt. Joe on The Mijoy emailed his report over on Sunday afternoon. "Well the fishing is awesome, and when you add some tautog and some sea bass it's killer! We sail seven days a week for these tasty bottom fish through October 31, and if you have room in your freezer now is the time to come aboard the MIJOY to experience the many reasons we've been doing this for over 70 years. We have the most comfortable boat on the Sound, a daily free trip raffle, free ice and morning coffee; it's a no-brainer. We're also kid friendly and Gma approved."
