Capt. Renee of the Captree based Laura Lee Fleet reported that on Sunday the 7 a.m. trip produced 127 sea bass, 57 porgies, three blackfish (released) and 5 sea robins for 25 fares. The Express full day trip had 31 fishermen who landed well over 500 sea bass and porgies, 120 bluefish, 19 albacore, 8 bonito, 30 mackerel and 17 triggerfish! The night trips are seeing some blues and a few stripers come over the rails. It bounced back Sunday, so the captain is looking forward to good fishing this week. The 34 and 12 day trips have been catching lots of blowfish. Nighttime striped bass trips start this Friday.     Capt. Renee of the Captree based Laura Lee Fleet reported this past week the offshore trips (7 a.m. full-day, 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.) were great weather permitting. Catching sea bass, porgies, triggerfish, mackerel, bluefish, false albacore and bonito. The 7 a.m. 34 and 1 p.m. 12 day trips fished in the bay for fluke, catching a lot and keeping fish up to 5.5 pounds. These trips will be bottom fishing starting 101.     Capt. Renee of the Captree based Laura Lee Fleet reported sea bass, bonito, false albacore, giant triggerfish and as many porgies as you want were caught on this past week's Laura Lee Express 7 a.m. full day offshore trips! Tons of fluke were caught on the Laura Lee local trips with fish up to 6 pounds. The night time offshore fishing has been great too with many limits of sea bass and porgies being kept.
