Miss Beryl Charters

November 13, 2017:
Capt. Rick Smith of Miss Beryl Charters in Long Beach reported a group of guys from the FTF website put together a 'tog run. They had Brooklyn Keeper Mike, his twin brother Steve, Eddie, Peetee and Crabby Joe. It was a tough grind as the captain stayed on one drop all day with wiggles and one re-anchor. The guys still managed to box up 19 keepers with decent action. A dozen or more shorts were put back. At one point jigs were scoring well when the current slacked. Most fish were in the 3 to 5-pound class. On Saturday Peetee chartered the boat for a 'Tog Foray. He brought along his crew of Rich G, Jerry, John, Joe and Mike Brooklyn Keeper. The captain fished a few areas and the boys boxed 22 keepers with Rich once again taking home the big bucks pool with his 6-pound unit.
