C.R.T. II

June 18, 2018:
A pair of trips this past week put anglers into some fluke aboard the C.R.T. II. Capt. Mick Trzaska said a Thursday trip with the Hopkins party saw a 10 to 1 mix of shorts to keepers to 22 inches. On Saturday fishing was slower with the same mix of fish but fewer keepers.

    The John Welling group fished aboard the C.R.T. II on Saturday and enjoyed a 10 to 1 mix of shorts to keeper fluke. Capt. Mick Trzaska said even with the high rate of short fluke the group still managed some nice filets for the fish box. Earlier in the week he found slow bass fishing in the back bay.

    Capt. Mick Trzaska of the C.R.T. II told me he is switching his boat over to fluke fishing for the summer, but will still be mixing in a few trips for bass if the fishing warrants it.

    "We got in a pair of linesider trips this past week," stated Capt. Mick Trzaska of the C.R.T. II. Mick said his Thursday trip hammered some big bass to 40-inches plus, while Saturday also got into jumbo bass in the same size class.

    Tuesday's trip saw spotty fishing, while Thursday's trip was non-stop according to Capt. Mick Trzaska of the C.R.T. II. Mick said a group of Patterson fireman savored some good fishing with bass to 36 inches, while Thursday's trip decked bass to 38 inches. Mick said the big bass are in and he expects some good fishing once things settle down. The boat has some spots open, along with a couple of weekend dates available.
