Tomo from Tomo's Tackle reported water temperature hasn't warmed up enough for flounder to bite, although the flounder have been sporadically caught. There has been hold-over striper caught in Boston Harbor area.

    Tomo from Tomo's Tackle reported there have been some winter flounder caught, but they are mostly shorts or small legal size but they have started to bite in North shore. A 20-inch winter flounder was caught in the lobster pot this week by a commercial fisherman. Holdover stripers have been caught at tributaries of Boston Harbor.

    Tomo from Tomo's Tackle reported winter flounder have started to be caught. Most of the fish have been shorts, around 9 to 11 inches, but action is action and it should only improve!

    Tomo from Tomo's Tackle reported he is looking forward to a very active and early 2018 season. He is offering several new products this year and wants to remind everyone that it is the perfect time to bring your reels in for new line and service.

    Tomo from Tomo's Tackle reported that the only saltwater news is the holdover stripers in Boston Harbor. He will start stocking sea worms in April when many of his customers start fishing for white perch. In the meantime Tomo's Tackle is open from 10 am to pm Wednesday to Sunday. He will be extending store hours later in the month of April.
