Captree Fuel, Bait and Tackle

November 12, 2018:
Dylan at Captree Bait & Tackle said that small bass into the 20-inch class continue to dominate the beach action at Robert Moses, Demo and Field 6 Jones Beach. Diamond jigs with green, red or white tubes remain the most popular choice, but bucktails, soft plastics and teasers are also producing their share of fish. He had reports of fish being taken as recently as Friday and Saturday mornings. Despite the good numbers, he did not hear of any keepers or any bluefish this week.

Saturday morning produced some fish before the wind really got cranking, and Sunday morning was pretty quiet despite an army of casters at Demo and Moses.
