Black Rose Fishing Charters

December 11, 2017:
Captain Rich Antonino of Black Rose Fishing Charters said that the Black Rose is officially wrapped up for the winter, putting the 2017 fishing season officially in the books. It was another great year of fishing and fun for Capt. Rich and his charters with some great memories all around. Capt. Rich is already looking forward to April when the haddock are shallow, allowing for some fun light-tackle angling to be had. He is already reserving trips for 2018 so call now to get the best selection of dates.

Captain Rich from Black Rose Fishing Charters fished for haddock, pollock, and redfish last week with good results. The crew was able to catch enough fish to be assured plenty of fillets for the whole winter. The action for these fish will be hot until the boat is off the water on December 15th.

Captain Rich from Black Rose Fishing Charters told me he was regretting not bringing his camera on his last trip offshore. Captain Dom called him into an area where tuna were surface-feeding. First cast into fish was blown up on in epic fashion just 25 feet from the boat. There was a mixed-bag of tuna from 80 to 800 pounds. His crew did manage to hook-up what they first thought might be a big cod, then a big pollock, then it emptied the spool and turned out to be a tuna of the giant size. After some fun the fish broke loose. There was tons of exciting activity observing big schools of busting tuna but unfortunately none reeled to the boat.
