Black Rose Fishing Charters

October 15, 2018:
Captain Rich from Black Rose Fishing Charters told me they have been seeing schools of blitzing tuna all along Middle Bank. Having the chance to approach a school busting tuna with spinning gear and cast into the pile is an experience that will stay with an angler forever. Smaller fish in the 40- to 60-inch range have arrived to make chances of success slightly better. Captain Rich will be targeting these fish through December, but right now is prime time.

Captain Rich Antonio of Black Rose Charters reported the tuna bite is on and there is some great fishing right now. Captain Rich told me he must have seen a thousand fish jump on Thursday busting on half-beaks in lots of quick blitzes. Some fish were jumping 10 feet out of the water. This bite is getting better and better and should stay with us well into November if the weather holds.
