Captain Rich from Black Rose Fishing Charters told me he will be exhibiting at the Mass Striped Bass Expo on April 1 and 2 in Hanover, MA. He will have a booth and will be speaking about shark fishing which is one of Captain Rich's great passions. If you are interested in fishing a shark tourney this summer, let him know while those dates are available (July 14 and15). He is equally excited about the haddock season that will be starting in mid-April. Rules for 2017 should still be favorable for anglers with a likely quota of 12 haddock per person. Anglers also enjoy great pollock fishing and have a good chance at a porbeagle shark on those trips.
Captain Rich from Black Rose Fishing Charters is in full winter mode now. He was watching his shark and tuna videos and seeing a lot of winded people. He will start haddock and porbeagle fishing in April. Spring can't come soon enough.
Captain Rich Antonio of Black Rose Charters reports tuna are still out there and biting with plenty of recreational-size fish still around. Ground fishing is excellent with many big pollock starting to show.
Captain Rich Antonio of Black Rose Charters reports that haddock and pollock fishing has been excellent and it is a great time to get in on some great fall action.
