Captain Rich from Black Rose Fishing Charters checked in again this week via email. "Ahhh... nothing like 90 mph winds to make you feel like fishing again! And now we've got some snow, too. That's ok; the cover is off of the Black Rose and she will be ready for April 15 haddock fishing. This is the time of year to chat about fishing. I'm thinking fishing 247 and I love talking to new people about what they want to catch. If you are interested in a multi-species fishing adventure, now is the time to plan it. Why? Getting a few days in a row on my calendar will be tougher and tougher as the days pass. We have the ability to fish back-to-back days for so many species at so many times. Bring the family; make Plymouth your vacation destination. And fish! By the end of May and June, you'll have every species available! Warm summer weather; sea bass, stripers, haddock, tuna and shark. Not a bad week of fishing! Give me a call and we can talk about putting a multi-trip deal together."

We heard from Captain Rich of Black Rose Fishing Charters this week via email, and he says, "I've done it before and I am doing it again this year: Savage Gear Striper-A-Thon trips at the end of May and early June. As you may know, the fishing for bass is pretty epic, consistently at this time. We are going to target 15- to 30-pound bass with light tackle and Savage Gear lures. We will have lures for you to take home after the trip and we are going to focus on light tackle casting and jigging. Of course, if tuna show up, we will have appropriate spinning gear ready. The fishing is going to be a blast, a throwback to purely fun fishing. April 15 starts our haddock trips, so get your calendar out. See you soon!"
