November 13, 2017:
Andrea at J&J Tackle in Patchogue reported lots of short bass, especially on Saturday, along FINS, Smith Point, Cupsogue and Westhampton beaches. A few better fish were reported from the beaches east of Moriches Inlet on poppers and snagged bunker. Swim shads and small tins accounted for plenty of shorts. Sunday morning drew a crowd to FINS and Smith Point, but the action did not repeat. NORTH SHORE
