Booked Off Charters

October 15, 2018:
Capt. Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters fished offshore on Sunday hoping to chunk up some tuna, but even though they marked some fish they couldn't get a bite. On the way back in they stopped off for a couple of hours of cod and sea bass fishing and did pretty well with 10 or so cod up to 15 pounds and around 15 big sea bass. They also had some bluefish and a green bonito on the cod jigs. Capt. Tony has some tautog trips lined up for this coming week.

Capt. Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters said that they spent the majority of the week targeting sea bass and the fishing was very good. They made one attempt at cod and had a few fish but the bite was still on the slow side and there weren't a lot of sea bass on the cod grounds so after giving the cod fishing a solid try they moved inshore and loaded up on sea bass. Striped bass fishing picked back up around the island over the weekend. Fluke fishing seems to be slowing down locally but there have still been some good reports coming in from around Montauk.
