Capt. Pat of the charter boat Shamrock informs us that they were seeing plenty of blackfish over the past couple of weeks. Most of the fish were blow the 16 inch minimum size limit though. He even said that they were seeing a decent bite of porgies still. The captain said that their 2017 season has ended and they are all wrapped up for the year now. He wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a Happy Holiday Season and looks forward to seeing everyone in 2018. The boat will begin scheduling their 2018 season after the holidays so give the captain a call at 941-235-0677 if you want to book a charter for next season.

He also said that they are still seeing some weakfish up to five pounds mixing in. The blues were kind of quiet this week though according to Pat.
