Lewes Harbour Marina

At Lewes Harbour Marina, Amanda said the Katydid made it out on Wednesday and came back with a box full of big tog including six citations. Bill Keefer (7.11), Dr. Tony (7.64), Chris Thawley (9.27), Lou Pennella (7.34), Ron Mistretta (9.76) and Bob Murphy (7.66).

    At Lewes Harbour Marina, Amanda reported the final standings for the Tog Tournament. Joe McNeil was in first place with a 5.56-pound tog. Chris Ragni was in second place with his 5.37 pounder and Joe McNeil also had the third place tog weighing in at 4.95 pounds. The weather hurt the bay and ocean fishing all week so the only reports they had were white perch from the Broadkill River and the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal.

    At Lewes Harbour Marina, Amanda said Chris Ragni, Jr. took over first place in the Tog Tournament with a 5.37-pounder. Joe McNeal was in second with a 4.95-pound tog and Fred Robinson held down third with his 4.87-pounder. The Katydid had good numbers of flounder and sea bass on the few days he could leave the dock. Captain Keith Beebe on the Surface Tension had a mixed bag of flounder, sea bass, blues and a big squid at Site 11.

    At Lewes Harbour Marina, Tommy checked in a 2.18-pound white perch caught from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal by John Kellher. The fish was just a few ounces off the state record. John Hohmand had a 3.3-pound black sea bass and Andy Sheltons had a sea bass that weighed 3.10 pounds. Both citation fish were part of a catch of 42 flounder and 100 sea bass made on the Katydid. As of Saturday, the standings in the Tog Tournament were Joe McNeal with a 4.95, Fred Robinson with a 4.87 and Daryl Mergonthaller with a 4.47.

    At Lewes Harbour Marina, Amanda said the Lewes Harbour Marina's Tog Tournament is open and runs until October 31. As of Saturday, Fred Robinson was in first place with a 4.87 pounder. Bob Murphy was in second with his 4.69-pound tog. On Wednesday Tony Vansant had a 97.8-pound bluefin tuna at the Hot Dog on the chum. The boat also brought in a 53 and a 49-pound bluefin tuna. Also on Wednesday the Katydid had trout, blowfish, sea bass, tog, blues and sheepshead for the Wednesday group. On Saturday Bob and Dave Kinlger along with Chris Kerstetter fished Site 11 for 45 sea bass and two flounder.
