Outcast Sportfishing

October 15, 2018:
A lone trip with Outcast Sportfishing fished a foggy morning for a decent pick of 3- to 5-pound blues and some albies. Capt. Bob Wilson said he too had to cancel some trips later in the week because of the poor conditions.

Capt. Bob Wilson of Outcast Sportfishing told me his Thursday trip put patrons into a mix of stripers, blues and albacore, and then bounced some sinkers for a good pick of porgies. Bob said there is a lot of fish around and all it will take to stoke the fishing up is some cooler weather. He also mentioned that he has dates open for the fall fishing.

"Needless to say we did get out this past week due to the weather," stated Capt. Bob Wilson of Outcast Sportfishing. Bob said he heard of small bluefish, stripers and even some weakfish feeding on the peanut bunker in the Keansburg area on Saturday. "It looks like some fish are starting to go on the fall feed and hopefully things will improve this coming week," he said.
