Fluking at the Axel Carlson and Sea Girt is finally picking up according to Frank with also some nice sea bass being caught. The Manasquan River and inlet are still producing some nice size fluke during the day and stripers on eels at night. Point Pleasant Canal still a fun stop to go at night; to land a nice striper, eel is the way to go. From the canal to the Mantoloking bridge fluking remains good and crabbing has been excellent. The surf is still holding fluke in the wash with an occasional schoolie striper or blue being caught, but at night the big boys come out to play!
