Capt. Seth Sportfishing

August 3, 2020:
Capt. Seth Sportfishing on The Otter said, "It's been bass, bass and more bass this week. It really doesn't get any better than it is right now for big stripers. We are limiting out on slot fish and releasing multiple 35-plus-pound bass each trip. The biggest of the week was 49.5 inches, released after a quick measurement. We even took a minute to go out and catch a quick shark this week! The fishing is as good as it gets and things are looking great for the fall run, give us a call and reserve your spot!"

Capt. Seth on The Otter said, "We had another amazing week on the Otter! Plenty of large sea bass up to 5 pounds, limits of bass with multiple overs every trip. Some monster bluefish are also making an appearance which adds to the fun. Shout out to Haden Sauer who caught a 48-inch, 40-pound bass, all by himself, for his 9th birthday! Happy birthday little man! The fish fell for one of Bruce's famous Otter Tubes sweetened with a pink Otter Tail. August is big bass month so give us a call and get in on the action!"

Capt. Seth Sportfishing on The Otter said, "The fishing is as good as it gets! Limits are being had daily on stripers and sea bass, with many of the sea bass getting close to 5 pounds. There have also been some large—30 to 40 pound—stripers in the mix as well when the right conditions line up. Maybe when the heavy tides subside, some real slobs will show up... we'll be out there waiting."

Capt. Seth Sportfishing on The Otter said, "Fishing is still strong for stripers with plenty of slot fish and some nice overs. We had a couple really big fish dump the reels the other day and bust us off in the rocks. Sea bass is good and some really big porgies over 15 inches moved in locally as well. July is all booked up, but we have availability in August and plenty in September!"
