Capt. Seth Sportfishing

June 17, 2019:
Captain Seth Sportfishing said the bass fishing stayed hot all week! It seems that a good shot of keeper bass rolled into local waters this week making the mix between shorts and keepers much more even. There was also an influx of cocktail blues that made things even more interesting. On Saturday they had the "Salmon King" himself, 8-year-old Nate Butler who came all the way from Alaska to catch his first fluke, bluefish and striped bass. Fluking has been getting better and better locally and they had a good week with keepers. Local waters are still loaded with squid and every fluke they landed was chock full of squid.

They had lots of fish and fast action all week, every trip saw upwards of 50 striped bass into the mid 30-inch range. That's some good fishing! They also did some fluking behind Fishers which proved to be a bit challenging because of all the squid but they still managed a few keepers up to 27 inches. Seth still has openings through the end of the month and choice tide through the summer, give a call to reserve your trip aboard the legendary Otter.
