The guys from Canal B&T in Sagamore said it was a better week in the Canal with fish to 40 pounds jigged up at night. There was a decent dawndusk topwater bite and so-so daytime bite, too. There isn't much time left in this season so get in on things today before another season passes you by!

    There were a few decent bass pulled from the Canal this week according to Canal B&T with fish into the 40-pound class reported. Overall however, there seemed to be more schoolies than cows.

    The guys from Canal B&T in Sagamore report some good action in the Canal during the week on both topwater plugs in the morning hours. The weekend saw a bit of a slowdown, but some sharpies still pulled some decent bass jigging after dark.

    Canal B&T in Sagamore reports an ok week in the Canal with mostly 30-inch class bass being caught, but a few into the 30-pound class were also recorded. There are some blues being caught in both the east and we west ends, and there have been reports of really small bonito crashing equally small bait in the west end.

    There are schools of small to medium striped bass feeding on lots of bait, but larger bass are going to take some work according to Canal B&T in Sagamore. There are some sharpies doing the night thing, pulling larger bass from the Ditch, but overall the daytime bite is slow—that couldshould change this week with a hurricane on the horizon. There is word of some bonito buzzing in and out of the Canal at times, be sure to pack your speedster gear if you head there by day.
