Saltwaters Tackle

June 18, 2018:
Michael at Saltwaters Worldwide Outfitters in West Islip said bass action slowed this week with mostly small fish taking clams and bunker chunks at Demo and Robert Moses. Small blues have been in and out of the inlet with some shots at the tip of the Demo Bar before sunset during the week. Some fluke on the backside of Demo and at the Sore Thumb. Mike reminded that your best chance for success is to fish the last couple of hours of the incoming current and start of the ebb with its cleaner ocean water to avoid the brown tide conditions.
