A MESSAGE FROM THE FISHERMAN REGARDING COVID-19

In a personal address to readers and advertisers, Mike Caruso, owner/publisher of The Fisherman Magazine, explains how the publication plans to deal with the future effects of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and non-essential business closures in many states within the readership area

“Efforts to control the spread of Coronavirus have resulted in non-essential business closures in many states within our readership area, and with quarantines and school closures, the entire country – but especially the Northeast – is in lockdown mode,” said Mike Caruso, owner/publisher of The Fisherman, while explaining how the weekly printing and delivery system will become especially vulnerable to a major slowdown in production and delivery of the print magazine. “As a result, weekly newsprint issues will cease for the foreseeable future and be replaced with an enhanced digital magazine available to subscribers online at TheFisherman.com,” he said, adding “not to worry, we’re hard at work publishing your magazine, and the printing and delivery of the monthly, glossy print version of the magazine will continue as usual.”

Accessing your digital edition online is easy. Click on “Magazine” at the top of the screen; then click on the magazine edition you’d like to read. If you already have an online account which is free to all print magazine subscribers, just click the red button under the image of the magazine cover, “Already a subscriber Login in here”, and the digital magazine will begin to load. Or if you subscribe but have not set up an online account, click the blue button, “Already a subscriber & need to create a login”.
