The Connecticut/Rhode Island Fly Fishers is seeking new members. The CT/RI Fly Fishers are a local fly fishing club with interests in both fresh and saltwater pursuits. The club meets on the last Thursday of the month from January through June and in September and October. The meetings are held each month at the Mystic (CT) VFW located at 620 Stonington Road, Stonington, CT. Fly tying begins promptly at 6:30 p.m., followed by the general meeting at 7:00 p.m. Meetings feature raffles, guest speakers and a never-ending supply of informative and helpful tips and tricks for both experienced and novice fly tiers alike. The meetings are free of charge and open to the public. Refreshments may be purchased at the cash bar.
