Summertime and the livin’s easy… Maybe not for a surfcaster here in New England, but sometimes you have to step away from your roots and try something new. This is what I began doing many years back to pass the time in the hot and humid summer months. Add the stumbling economy to the equation and targeting smallmouth bass in a local river looks like a better idea with each passing day.
