Having been on Nauset Beach for so long, it was painful to leave the steady striper fishing that had always been there. You could ride the 11 miles of beach, reading the bars, holes and sloughs for good striper water; or, you could be certain that fish would line up in the currents of Chatham Inlet on any tide. Some fished sea worms on the bottom and some plugged the beach sections that read well.
