Austin Perilli

Austin Perilli spent several years working in ad sales for the New Jersey edition of The Fisherman before beginning his teaching career with the New York City Department of Education. He has written numerous articles covering his backyard waters of Jamaica Bay and the New York Bight. Fluke, stripers, 'tog and ling are among his favorite targets but he'll try for just about anything that swims in local waters. Following his first full year of teaching, Austin purchased his first boat, a used but very seaworthy 25 foot Pacemaker Alglas that now serves as his fishing platform.
