Milt Rosko Milt Rosko

Contributing Writer

Now retired for 18 years after a 45-year career in management at Anheuser-Busch, Milt Rosko has enjoyed recreational fishing since he was seven years old. He also enjoys writing about what he calls his “contemplative pastime,” and the memories it has brought him and his family over a span of many years.

Milt’s articles and photos have been published in most regional and national fishing publications. He has authored nine books and written more than 3,000 articles, receiving national writing awards from the Outdoor Writers Association of America and Boating Writers International.

Milt was a proud member of the Rod and Gun Editors Association of Metropolitan New York for 45 years. He was also the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fisherman’s Conservation Association for his dedication to the angling community. In part, his proclamation read: “With a consistent emphasis on conservation and angler responsibility his contribution to fishing is not measured in words but as a legacy that will last for generations of anglers to come.” Former president George H. W. Bush also received this prestigious award for his continuing commitment to recreational fishing.
