Recent reports can help us rule out a lot of options in Massachusetts, Buzzards Bay and its estuaries have been very slow for shore fishermen. The Vineyard and Nantucket Sound have been slow as well. The outer beaches on Cape Cod are beginning to come to life now though, and if you’re looking for cooler water, you’ll find it there. We’re also hearing about very good striper action from North Shore spots like Cape Ann and Plum Island. Again, we’re taking advantage of reliably cooler water temps and bigger tides.
