If you’ve suffering from bluefin fever, this Saturday’s Bluefin Fever tournament out of Manasquan Inlet may be just what the tuna doctor has ordered.
Bluefin Fever, presented by the Jersey Coast Shark Anglers (JCSA) is offering up a total cash purse based on number of entries with 40% of the payout to first place, 20% to second and 10% to third. Entry is $250 per boat with mandatory attendance at the Captain’s Meeting on Friday May 20 at 6:30 p.m. at JCSA headquarters at 385 Herbertsville Road in Brick. Refreshments and sandwiches will be served!
Weigh-in location is at Capt. Bill’s Landing on the Manasquan, 49 Inlet Drive in Point Pleasant Beach from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. There are also several calcuttas available to help your team up the ante after the scales are closed, with $150 heaviest bluefin, $75 heaviest bluefin and $100 stringer of two with winner takes all (less 10% charitable donations to NJ Make A Wish Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Carmelena Cares).
