Western South Shore bays produced fluke up to 24 inches for Bill Misitano who used Gulp Swimming Mullet and spearing combos on the back of a bucktail.

This 5-plus pound fluke measured out at 24 inches for Bruce Falkenberg and was caught on the 4th of July inside of the Great South Bay.

While fishing in the Gut, 94-year-old Bill Urianek caught this slot striper on June 22nd while fishing on the Sundowner, out of Orient Point.

Ben Shaw from Glenville, NY came down to the island to fish the Triangle area north of Northport. He used bucktail jigs to catch bass up to 40 inches during the trip.

Fisherman subscriber Anthony Vernola caught this humpback porgy while fishing out of the Cold Spring Harbor area. The fish weighed 2.55 pounds.
