See Something?  Say Something!  Call Operation Game Thief 855-OGT-TIPS

No one wants to be a Karen, but when you see someone keeping undersize or over-the-limit fish, what are you supposed to do?  Bet course of action is to call Operation Game Thief (OGT) to report a scofflaw and let the enforcement professionals handle the rest.

Funded by the New Jersey State Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs and designed to encourage sportsmen and women to report poaching and wildlife crimes, the OGT tip line at 855-OGT-TIPS (855-648-8477) line is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s free, confidential, and you may actually be eligible for a reward.

Keep the OGT number above in your cellphone to report instances of the following:

  • Negligent use of firearms
  • Over the limits for game and fish
  • Commercial exploitation of fish and wildlife
  • Pollution of habitat, dumping on state land
  • Destruction of signs and state property
  • Illegal killing, taking or possession of any wildlife

The person who poaches, pollutes habitat and abuses public land tarnishes the image of sportsmen and robs us of our fish and wildlife, as well as tax and license dollars. You can make a difference.
