DESCRIPTION:The NOAA Office of Law Enforcement is offering a reward of up to $20\,000 in exchange for information leading to the successful prosecution of individuals suspected of being involved in significant unreported or misreported landings of summer flounder in New York and New Jersey. \nNOAA officials seek information from anyone who may have details of these incidents.  Anyone with information is asked to please call OLE’s Northeast Division at 908-339-1148\, or the NOAA Enforcement Hotline at 800-853-1964.  Tips may be anonymous\, however anyone providing information must leave their name and contact information to be eligible for the reward. \nFor other fish and game violation reports in the state of New Jersey\, the NJ Operation Game Thief (NJ-OGT) hotline is open 24 hours a day\, 7 days a week at 855-OGT-TIPS. \nThis number is exclusively for hunting\, fishing and trapping violations\, and is sponsored by New Jersey State Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs in cooperation with New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife. \nAs with the federal enforcement hotline\, your identity when using the 855-OGT-TIPS phone number for reporting hunting\, fishing and trapping violations in New Jersey can remain anonymous.  Anonymous callers will be assigned a unique reference number and will be instructed how to call back for updates on the investigation. \nIf you leave your name and call back information\, a Conservation Officer will be able to update you with the results of the investigation.

A captains meeting is being held 7 p.m. on October 23 at the VFW Hall on Main Street in Center Moriches. Raffles include a 50/50\, rod and reel and a 120-quart Yeti Cooler.
