SUMMARY:NYC Fishing Meet Up
DESCRIPTION:The NYC Fishing Meet Up Spring 2026\, hosted by Bob Aquatic\, is set for Sunday\, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at East River Park in Manhattan. This casual\, non-official gathering invites anglers to fish for fun with a “shortest fish” prize of $100 cash. Participants will be fishing north of the Williamsburg Bridge up to the end of construction\, around the green umbrellas and seating area across from the tennis courts\, with access via the Delancey Street Bridge. Anglers are asked to bring their own gear and bait\, and a valid fishing license is required for anyone age 16 and older. This is a laid-back meet-up designed to keep things simple and enjoyable—just show up\, fish\, and have fun.
