SUMMARY:Combs Bait and Tackle Fluke Derby
DESCRIPTION:Free – No Entry Fee. All participants must register each month at least 48 hours in advance of their fishing trip to qualify for a weigh in. All weigh-ins must take place at the shop. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd Place each month. There will be a separate Junior Division for ages 12 and under. All fluke must be caught in Long Island waters\, and on a rod and reel per IGFA Rules. In September\, a Grand Prize will be given in the Adult and Junior Divisions to the angler that has weighed in the largest fluke during the Derby. DESCRIPTION:Annual event at Island Beach State Park returns on third Sunday of May in 2021. \nSame day registration at Pavilion #1.  Age 18 and older $20\, age 13-17 $5 and age 12 and under free on day of event. \nAnglers interested in participating in the tournament can request a brochure by e-mailing karen.byrne@dep.nj.gov or get details by calling 609-748-4347.
