SCUP STILL #1
Porgy action remains solid from one end of the Sound to the other.
Porgies continue to hold their position as the number species providing top action from one end of the Sound to the other. Bluefish activity has been inconsistent but the areas that did report on them said most are in the cocktail class. The good news is that some party boat captains reported decent numbers of weakfish are coming aboard in the daily by catch. Some have hit the 5-pounds plus mark. Parents and their kids are still enjoying a hot snapper bite at docks and piers. Most bass being found are schoolies but the cooler water should bring in the keepers.
