STILL FLOUNDERING
Capt Brent in the Katydid fished ocean structure over the weekend and his charter had a great time catching sea bass and a nice bunch of flounder. John Hohman caught a 3.33-pound citation sea bass and Andy Sheltons citation weighed 3.10 pounds
It was another week of wind and rain so very few boats were able to fish the bay or the ocean. When conditions allowed some fishing to happen the sea bass and flounder were waiting. This will be the best bet for the week. On the Chesapeake, schools of breaking blues and striped bass are found from just above the Bay Bridge all the way to Point Lookout. Lots of short fish on the surface with the larger keepers holding on the bottom. Casting, jigging and trolling are all producing fish out of this activity. This will be your best bet for the week.
