TOG & TUNA

Posted By Charley Soares, November 5, 2018
TOG & TUNA
Capt. John of Fish Chatham Charters decked three giants from 90 to 104 inches on the short 3-day commercial window this past week.
The best game in town is bottom fishing for tautog, and although the ocean has been a rough place over the past week some guys are finding action inside of Mt Hope Bay Rockpiles and around the bridge abutments. It doesn’t take five tautog to make a day, one good one can bring a smile to your face. Although it’s not for everyone, the tuna bite off the Regal Sword this past week was phenomenal with numerous boats hooking-up with and landing giant tuna during that short window of opportunity.
