SANDY HOOK TUNNY

Posted By Nick Honachefsky, October 30, 2017
As the surf settles after the uncanny 5 year Superstorm Sandy anniversary blow, look for stripers to really make a push as historically this is the week we see the real first wave of bass move in. Small bluefish still dominate surf catches, with a smattering of albies, blackfish and even red drum filling in the blanks while we wait for the stripers to show. Its almost go-time so be prepared to put in some time during the dark hours to nail your stripers!
