FLUKING REMAINS SOLID

FLUKING REMAINS SOLID
Solid fluke action aboard the Capt. Lou fleet this week.
It's Anglers' Choice Week as both bass and summer flatties were active. Fluke did not disappoint and can be found in Massapequa Cove, the State Boat Channel, Robert Moses, Reynolds Channel and the Meadowbrook Bridge. Anglers to the west can check out Breezy Point and the Canarsie area. Bucktails have been effective in all areas when coupled with spearing and squid. Bass are still on the move and Jamaica Bay has seen good numbers of fish taken. East/West Channel and Cedar Beach are top spots further east. Depending on the time of day you can try bunker, clam bellies, fresh clams and chum or toss swimming plugs and poppers.
